Pontypool-based bathroom distributor Faucets has raised over £9,000 for Make A Wish Foundation with its annual Charity Golf Day. This year's event was held on 1st September at The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, and attended by 75 industry supporters and staff. The latest event brings the total amount that Faucets has raised for the charity, which supports children with critical illnesses, to £30,286.
Darren Taylor, MD for Faucets, said: "It was great to be back at The Celtic Manor Resort for the Annual Faucets Charity Golf Day. We had a fantastic turn-out, the weather was kind, the course was as challenging as always, and the BBQ was excellent. Thanks to everyone who attended we managed to raise £9,123 for Make-A-Wish – a fantastic effort! We look forward to trying to beat that total next year!"
