In collaboration with British designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, AXOR has revealed that it is extending its AXOR One bathroom collection with a selected palette of coloured taps and fixtures inspired by a specific set of naturally occurring interactions between light, colour, and water.
Anke Sohn, AXOR’s head of global brand marketing, said: “The extension comprises six colour variants for homes, available through our AXOR Signature service. Upon request, almost any AXOR product can be personalised, customised, and adapted via AXOR Signature services. Edward and Jay curated these colours for us to evoke specific aspects of water in relation to the earth and the sky. The palette draws on the designers’ observation that colour often increases in vibrancy and intensity when seen through water, and it reflects the design brand’s elemental connection to nature through water.”
The selected fixtures from the collection have a gloss finish, to reflect the surrounding environment, while providing the easily cleanable surfaces required in a bathroom. The new colours are: Aquamarine, Coral, Ice, Stone, Shell and Sand.
