Haier awarded Quiet Mark certification for outstanding noise reduction

Appliance brand Haier has been awarded the Quiet Mark certification for having one of the quietest and most efficient tumble dryer and washing machines available on the market. The certification was awarded to Haier’s X Series 11 which includes a washing machine and tumble dryer. The Quiet Mark certification awards appliances that provide quality performance on the quiet, so users can truly relax in their homes.

Haier says its X Series 11 marks the beginning of a new era for washing machines and tumble dryers. For washing, the X Series 11 has an Ultra Fresh Air function that keeps clothes fresh for up to 12 hours after the cycle has finished. When the door is kept closed this intelligent technology draws fresh air into the machine, circulating it within the drum before releasing it to prevent the formation of mould, bacteria and bad odours. The continuous drum rotation also prevents clothes from becoming creased.

In awarding Haier’s X Series 11 the certification, the team at Quiet Mark said: “To achieve Quiet Mark certification large appliances have to perform within the quietest 30% of models on the current market of their type each year. Washing machines are in almost every household in the UK and can be very intrusive to the soundscape of our homes, especially on the spin cycle. Haier's HW110-BD14397PGUK X Series 11 sound performance has made it through technical verification checks for sound levels as one of the top quiet freestanding washing machines of 2024.”

Antony Peart, director of brand & communications at Haier Europe, said: “This certification highlights our commitment to performance and innovation, with Haier offering professional-quality washing and drying results with reduced noise and optimised energy efficiency.”
