10 of the latest freestanding tubs that will instantly elevate your designs
Nothing says luxury quite like a stunning freestanding bath – we round up 10 of the most recently launched statement tubs for you to consider when designing your next bathroom project.
1 - Launching in September is the new Victoria + Albert Kerid bath, which is designed for deep soaking and cold plunging, and is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation. Compact, with high walls and a raised seat on the base, it is designed for seated bathing, with immersion up to the chest. Made from a blend of Volcanic Limestone and a special resin, it measures 1350mm long with a wide 450mm diameter bowl, and sides rising from 700mm to 850mm.
2 - Alongside its latest basin collection, Waterworks has unveiled Centuria – an iconic take on the brand’s bestselling Empire bathtub, sculpted from a selection of 7 solid Italian stones. Shown here in stone option Paonazzo, this showstopping vessel requires over 200 hours of expert craftsmanship to complete and is defined by a curved rim and hand-polished finish.
3 - BC Designs has introduced the Sculptura – a striking new addition to its Acrymite range, which is designed to bring a bold yet timeless aesthetic to modern bathrooms. The bath's unique abstract geometry adds a contemporary sculptural presence to any bathroom while maintaining a refined elegance that won’t date over time. Measuring 1690mm in length, it boasts a deep bathing space, and comes with a 10-year guarantee for domestic use.
4 - The Theano freestanding bath from Villeroy & Boch was showcased on the company's stand at ISH 2025, and is a design highlight. Its delicate minimalist shape creates a modern and timeless ambience in a design in both the standard version and the asymmetric Curved Edition, pictured here in Matte Black. Available in a monochrome look or in a BiColour version for individual style statements, Theano comes in 1550mm and 1700mm versions.
5 - The Infinity collection from Waters Baths of Ashbourne is a range of 8 thin-edged, freestanding baths designed for pure, minimalist luxury. Each bath is fitted with the innovative two12 overflow and filling system, removing the need for traditional taps and delivering filtered, aerated water for a spa-like experience. At the heart of the collection is the Stream bath, combining spacious polished curves with a minimalist silhouette that exudes effortless elegance.
6 - The latest addition to Christian Werner's Vitrium bathroom range for Duravit is this spacious bathtub, measuring 1850mm long. Available in 2 variants – freestanding and back-to-wall – made from satin-matt mineral material DuroCast, the new bathtub range blends seamlessly into the overall concept of the collection. The edge of the bathtub is a feature of the design that doubles as the perfect space for essential oils, care products, candles, or a relaxing drink.
7 - Building on the success of the much-loved Newton bath, Drummonds has unveiled 2 new cast iron designs: the Stour and the Dee. The Stour, shown here with a painted exterior and bun feet, takes the Newton’s design DNA and scales it up into a generously deep and wide tub. With a more enveloping shape and measuring 1719mm long, it is particularly well-suited to larger family bathrooms or master suites.
8 - In response to a growing demand for softer, more considered bathroom design, BC Designs has launched the Wivenhoe, an elegant new freestanding bath that balances timeless design with modern ease. Cast from BC Designs' Cian solid surface material, and available as either polished white or silk matt, the Wivenhoe can sit comfortably in both classic and contemporary settings. Generously proportioned at 1800mm in length, the Wivenhoe is double-ended and holds up to 180 litres of water.
9 - New from Roca is the Noya bath, which features a gently contoured oval shape, and measures 1650 x 750mm making it a smart choice for compact spaces. Manufactured from high-quality acrylic reinforced by fibreglass, the Noya is designed with a central drain and integrated overflow system to maintain its sleek aesthetic. The bath walls are just 5mm thick, which helps maximise the internal bathing space within the overall footprint.
10. And finally, Bette has updated its BetteSuno bathroom collection designed for the company by Barber Osgerby with the addition of its new colour Salvia. Salvia is an elegant, glossy, sage green and joins Bette's existing 30 Key Colours, which are available on the entire Bette enamelled-steel range of shower trays, baths and washbasins.
