Kitchen and bathroom surface manufacturer Rearo has agreed a new contract with Benchmarx, the kitchen showroom division of Travis Perkins, to supply 13 decorative worktop designs across its direct-to-store and direct-to-consumer operations. Benchmarx, which operates 120 branches across the UK, has been seeking a new supplier following the closure of International Decorative Surfaces (IDS) last year, after it entered administration. Rearo was selected for its “quality, reliability, and nationwide distribution capabilities” following a competitive tender

The contract strengthens the Glasgow-based supplier’s relationship with the Travis Perkins Group and highlights its ability to meet the logistical demands of large retailers. Rearo’s Northampton branch, located just 100 yards from Benchmarx’s head office at Lodge Farm Industrial Estate, ensures seamless supply chain integration, according to MD Graham Mercer.

He said: “We are thrilled to expand our long-standing relationship with the Travis Perkins Group through this contract with Benchmarx. This win reflects our commitment to quality, ethical sourcing, and logistical excellence. Having undergone a rigorous audit of our environmental and CSR credentials, we’re proud to have achieved a Low Risk rating, further validating our responsible business practices.”
