Laminam UK MD Gavin Shaw announces departure from brand

Gavin Shaw has announced that his time as managing director of Laminam UK has come to an end. 

Shaw joined the company as MD in 2023 and is credited with building brand awareness in the UK of the Italian porcelain surface manufacturer. He has over 20 years’ experience in the KBB and surface materials industry and has also worked for Costentino.

Writing on LinkedIn, Shaw said: “It’s been an honour to lead such a talented team and work alongside a truly innovative brand. Together we’ve achieved so much from growing the business in a challenging market, establishing the Laminam brand as a market leader whilst helping to change the narrative in the UK around porcelain surfaces. I couldn't be prouder of what we’ve accomplished.

“To everyone at Laminam UK, thank you for your hard work and your passion. It’s been an unforgettable chapter and I’ll always look back on it with pride and gratitude. 

“For now, I’m looking forward to a well earned break, time with family, long walks with the dog, plenty of cycling and a chance to recharge and reflect on what’s next.”

Shaw’s replacement at Laminam UK has yet to be announced.
