Hettich UK and ECF announce landmark partnership

Furniture fittings manufacturer Hettich has announced that its drawer system and hinge technology will now be incorporated in East Coast Fittings’ (ECF) assembled kitchen ranges and ECF is to be a nationwide distributor of Hettich products.

In a landmark partnership with Hettich UK, ECF has chosen the AvanTech YOU drawer system and Sensys hinge range as the furniture movement technology for its Gaddesby and Volpi kitchen collections, Volante Furniture, Robe Bedrooms and Superior Cabinets.

In an evolving Hettich offering, ECF will also supply pre-assembled AvanTech YOU drawer sets, Actro 5D runners for wooden drawers, and the WingLine L sliding/folding door system to its national customer base.

ECF has built a reputation over 40 years as a dependable, British, family-owned business supplying components and pre-assembled cabinets to more than 4,000 KBB trade customers in the UK and Ireland. ECF offers a free planning service and short lead times, and manufactures to order from its site in rural Leicestershire, where it also has a warehouse fully stocked with everything from doors to sinks and taps.

Hettich UK joined the family-owned Hettich Group in 1990. Hettich is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of furniture fittings, established in Germany, with 8,600 staff members across 25 global subsidiaries. Hettich UK is headquartered in MediaCityUK, Manchester, where it opened its new Innovation Centre in October last year.
