BLANCO's LUNEOO-S // OOVALON UNIT receives another prestigious design award

BLANCO’s acclaimed LUNEOO-S // OOVALON UNIT has received another prestigious design award. The strikingly designed LUNEOO-S tap paired with the oval OOVALON sink made from the patented material Velgranit, has already been awarded the German Design Award 2026 in Gold and the iF Design Award 2026 – and now the Red Dot: Best of the Best award has been added to its collection.

With the Red Dot: Best of the Best award, the international Red Dot jury, in its own words, honors ‘the best products in a category’ and makes it clear that the prize stands for ‘pioneering design and outstanding product quality.’

The BLANCO UNIT combines the sink, tap, storage and organisaition solutions, into a modular system that is said to blend form and function. With its contoured and sculptural silhouette, the LUNEOO-S tap makes a striking statement at the kitchen water place. Available as a drinks system or classic tap version, both options feature a dual-spray head that docks smoothly back into place, while the flexible, braided hose extends all around the sink. CHOICE LUNEOO-S takes it one step further by delivering filtered boiling hot, different levels of sparkling water, chilled still and also hot and cold cleaning water, all at the touch of a button. 

With its clearly defined oval shape, the OOVALON sink makes a strong design statement. Crafted from patented Velgranit, the sink features a refined texture, high-quality materials, and an aesthetic that the company says blends design sophistication with everyday practicality.
