KBBG and KBSA to co-host regional business development events
Following the success of their shared stand at KBB Birmingham in March this year, the KBBG and the KBSA have announced they will be joining forces again this Autumn to co-host 3 separate daytime regional business development events at venues across the Midlands, the South and the North. The first will take place at The Belfry, Solihull on 14th October 2026, then at Wokefield Park, Reading on 4th November 2026, and at Royal Armouries, Leeds on 25th November 2026.
Each regional meeting will focus on how to implement and generate positive change in today's challenging retail environment. The event programme will commence with welcome speeches and business updates presented by Richard Hibbert, MD of the KBBG, and by Luke Wedgbury, interim chair of the KBSA.
At each event, business workshops developed specifically for independent KBB retailers will be moderated by facilitator, Niall Daly, pictured, founder of Clearing Space and programme director for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. With 15 years’ experience in the KBB sector, he will introduce proven methodologies and actionable tools for business growth.
This will culminate in the provision of a 90-day plan to help independent retailers achieve their business goals, which will then be followed up with a webinar at a later date to help implement them. In addition to coffee and lunch breaks, there will also be time set aside for industry networking following each event’s closing messages.
Attendance is complimentary for independent retailer members of the KBBG or the KBSA. Tickets can be booked via www.kbsa.org.uk. Independent KBB retailer non-members are also welcome to attend by registering and paying a fee of £99 inc VAT per delegate, per event.
