Kaldewei products specified for boutique hotel on the Isle of Islay

Opened in the Autumn of 2025, Ardbeg House on the Isle of Islay in Scotland has undergone a multimillion-pound design-led refurbishment in collaboration with Russell Sage Studios, emerging as a 12-room boutique hotel where every space tells a story and celebrates the best of Islay and Ardbeg, with Kaldewei as a valued supplier helping to shape the guest experience.

For this landmark project, German bathroom manufacturer Kaldewei supplied baths and shower trays for the guest bathrooms. Chosen for their architectural clarity, material integrity, and long-term sustainability they are said to fully support Ardbeg’s overall design and environmental goals.

In the hotel’s marble bathrooms, Kaldewei bathtubs and shower trays provide a bold addition to the layered storytelling of the bedrooms – complementing the spaces with their warm grey and matt black colourways, chosen to integrate seamlessly into each design narrative.
