Tissino invests in new website to support consumer-to-showroom journey
Bathroom brand Tissino has made a 'significant investment' in its digital presence with the launch of a new website designed to make the journey from online research to showroom visit easier for consumers. The company says the new site responds to the way customers increasingly approach bathroom purchases: researching products, comparing options and looking for inspiration online before deciding what they want to see in person. Tissino has focused on making the early stage of the buying journey simpler, with improved search, clearer product categorisation, easier access to technical information and a stronger emphasis on lifestyle imagery.
Tissino says the website has been developed to make the handover from digital research to showroom visit more effective. That thinking runs through the new retailer search functionality, which gives consumers a clearer route to finding local stockists once they have narrowed down the products they are interested in. The aim is to help customers arrive in a showroom better informed, while also making it easier for retailers to convert the interest created online into a physical visit and, ultimately, a sale.
Alongside the new consumer-facing experience, the brand has increased the amount of digital content available to retailers, including lifestyle imagery, video and social media assets that can be used across their own channels. Tissino has also used the project to strengthen the technical foundations of the site, including SEO and the way the brand is positioned for changing search behaviour and AI-led product discovery.
Katie Taylor, digital marketing manager at Tissino, said: “Consumers are doing more research before they walk into a showroom, so we wanted to make sure that part of the journey is working harder for both them and our retail partners. The website should give customers the confidence to explore the range, understand the products and work out what they want to see next. From there, the role of the showroom becomes even more important, because that is where they can experience the product properly, ask questions and make decisions with the support of a retailer. For us, digital investment is about strengthening that journey rather than replacing any part of it. If we can help consumers arrive better informed and make it easier for them to find the right showroom, that creates a better experience for everyone.”
