AMDEA announces new head of technical, regulation and standards
AMDEA has welcomed Rob Gosling to the newly created role of head of technical, regulation and standards.
Rob joins from Dyson, where he has spent the last 14 years in various technical and engineering roles, with the most recent being principal standards and external affairs manager.
He joins AMDEA with a strong working knowledge of the organisation, having been an active member of both the association and APPLiA while at Dyson. His role will involve setting the strategy and delivery plan for all AMDEA’s technical, regulatory and standards work and leading the team delivering core services and value. He will be working closely with Richard Hughes, AMDEA’s current technical manager, who is retiring in July, to ensure a smooth transition.
AMDEA CEO Paul Hide said: “I firmly believe that Rob’s permanent addition to our team will help us continue the excellent progress we have made over the past year. Richard’s knowledge, professionalism, enthusiasm and industry relationships will be very much missed but I am confident we will continue to build a stronger and more effective AMDEA.”
