Suffolk-based kitchen specialist KSL Sudbury has announced it is celebrating 35 successful years in business by hosting a charity golf day in aid of Futurestars – an education-through-sports charity that works with 6 partner schools in Ghana and one in Togo to support children in need.
The event will take place on Wednesday 8th May at Hintlesham Golf Club near Ipswich. The day will start at 11am with coffee and bacon rolls, and at 12pm teams of 4 golfers will set off to play 18 holes. At 5.15pm there will be a golf trick shot show, and at 6pm the day will conclude with a delicious 2-course meal and prizegiving. Some holes sponsorships are available at £100 each, and teams of 4 can take part for £450.
Richard Hibbert, MD of KSL Sudbury, said: "Hitting 35 years in business is big news for us at KSL and we wanted to start the celebrations and raise some money for charity. Futurestars is a charity we have supported along with some local charities over the years, and they play a vital role in supporting children get access to an education in underprivileged countries. We really hope to bring as many KBB folk together as possible, firstly have a really good day, and secondly to raise some much-needed funds. The entry cost will cover the whole day and we won’t be asking you to constantly dip your hand in your pocket so a relaxed and fun day can be had by all!"
