Roca Group targets over 65s market with two 'strategic' acquisitions

Roca Group, which owns the Roca, Laufen and Royo brands, has acquired two new companies: Nosag and IneoCare. Both specialise in the manufacture of bathroom accessibility products for people with reduced mobility. Roca Group says these acquisitions reinforce its position in Central Europe and also in the over-65s market, a growing segment that already accounts for 20% of Europe’s population.

Nosag, an established brand in the market, was founded in 1977 in Dintikon, Switzerland. In 2020, the company established IneoCare (in Dobroszyce, Poland) to manufacture and supply most of its products. The companies are currently only present in the Swiss market, but Roca Group says it plans to introduce the brands to all the markets it currently operates in.

Albert Magrans, CEO of Roca Group, said: “For the group, this is a strategic move, given the complementary portfolios of both companies with the current catalogue of products offered by our global brands Roca and Laufen. It reinforces our line of ‘total care concept’ products and will allow us to reach all those people who, as well as being committed to design and usability, need more practical and comfortable devices adapted to their personal circumstances.
