German kitchen manufacturer Rotpunkt says it has listened to its network of retail partners when implementing the company’s 2025 product roadmap. Intensely focused on engaging, speaking with and listening to new and existing customers, Sven Herden, MD of marketing & sales at Rotpunkt Küchen, said: “We picked up on the desire for differentiation options and ‘simplicity in diversity’ following discussions with our retail partners during the year.” The direct response from Rotpunkt retailers proved there is a general consensus for, ‘A product that allows us to differentiate ourselves and stand out from the local competition; that offers variety and is still easy to plan and sell.’
As the global furniture market continues to experience a slow recovery, 2023-2024 results are above pre-pandemic levels with the latest reports forecasting positive growth in 2025. For this reason, Rotpunkt Küchen will be cautious and take a realistic view of the market however, it will continue to invest in key areas of the business and implement new product development, expansion of its Bünde site, and modernisation of logistics and production, as planned. Andreas Wagner, Managing Partner at Rotpunkt says, “The trees are not growing into the sky for the entire industry, but our earnings situation remains stable.”
Rotpunkt says it has a 'very good order backlog' across all markets, and Sven Herden is confident about the coming months saying: “In all likelihood, 2025 will not be any easier than 2024 but in the medium term, the signs are pointing to an easing of the situation and therefore new growth once again for Rotpunkt Küchen.”
The 2025 product roadmap by Rotpunkt includes a range of new fronts with contemporary hardwood timbers through to modern frame options, and fluted designs in wood and glass. This is in addition to the newly expanded Fenix range with 27 different door fronts and worktops, and new cabinet heights.
As Rotpunkt moves into new room categories in 2025, its furniture is able to serve every corner of the UK home and provide more scope when designing for the kitchen, utility/laundry room, hallway, living room, home bar, office, bedroom, and dressing room area. From welcoming guests into the home with practical hallway storage through to contemporary open-plan kitchens, custom entertainment centres, and walk-in wardrobe solutions for today’s dressing room and master bedroom suite, Rotpunkt says its 2025 product offer is its most contemporary, diverse, and comprehensive to date.
