Roper Rhodes and Ideal Standard among the winners at PHG Supplier Awards

PHG Plumbing Heating Group, the plumbing, heating and bathroom buying group for the UK, held its Annual Supplier Awards at Carden Park Hotel in Chester at the end of May 2025. The awards came after a day of golfing and outdoor team building activities, including zip lining, Powerturn buggy slalom and the ever popular duck herding!

The PHG Supplier Awards celebrate excellence in the plumbing, heating and bathroom industry. A total of 259 guests from the sector attended the event, including 196 supplier representatives and 63 PHG representatives. PHG now has 13 members operating out of 276 branches in the UK. 

The winners included Roper Rhodes, which won the Outstanding Achievement Award and Instinct Bathroom Supplier of the Year; Ideal Standard for Bathroom Supplier of the Year (over £1m) and Highlife Bathrooms, which was awarded Bathroom Supplier of the Year (under £1m). Ideal Heating was crowned Instinct Plumbing & Heating Supplier of the Year, Overall Supplier of the Year and Heating Supplier of the Year (over £1m).

David Pochin, chairman at PHG, said: “The PHG supplier awards brings together the best of the Independent Plumbing and Heating merchants and their chosen suppliers for an evening of celebration and entertainment. Congratulations to all the supplier nominees and award winners.”

To conclude the evening, Comedian, Ventriloquist and Winner of 2015 ‘America’s Got Talent’, Paul Zerdin entertained the audience while PHG raised £4,200 for Air Ambulances UK after hosting a charity raffle at the event.
