Faucets Charity Golf 'industry event of the year' hailed as success
Pontypool-based bathroom distributor Faucets has raised £7,200 for Make-A-Wish Foundation, which supports children with critical illnesses, with its annual Charity Golf Day. This year's event was held on 28th June at The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, and attended by 76 industry supporters and staff, with 52 playing golf.
Darren Taylor, MD for Faucets, said: "It was another great Charity Golf Day. The weather just about stayed good, and the facilities for the golf and dinner were, as ever, superb. As always, it was great to see some 'old faces' plus some newcomers to the day. I firmly believe the day has become the bathroom industry event of the year! We are already planning for next year!"
This was Faucets' ninth Charity Golf Day, and the amount raised brings the total the company has raised for Make-A-Wish Foundation to just over £50,000.
