Inspired by the interiors trend for plaster, which can add warmth and texture to a space, Ca’ Pietra has introduced the new Stucco collection. Designed to give consumers the plaster-effect look for less, this porcelain tile collection is available in seven warm tones, which add to the surface's velvety nature.
Grazzie Wilson, head of creative at Ca’ Pietra, said: “It began with smooth and silky Moroccan Tadelakt plaster and now we’re seeing more visually textured finishes coming in strong from the raw and grainy feeling of micro-cement to the velvet-y limewash look to this, stucco-style. Our new Stucco tiles are, as you might expect, inspired by classic Stucco cement-style character. From a distance, you can see the slightly mottling to the colour, giving visual texture and subtle depth to a room. They’re the sort of tiles you want to run your hands over no matter where you use them.”
Consumers can choose from ivory, tan, red, umber, green, blue and mustard and either colour drench their projects in the same Stucco shade or combine two for a chequerboard effect.
Measuring 60cm x 60cm x 1cm, they have a slip rating of R10 making them suitable for use in bathrooms and they can be installed with underfloor heating.
