MHK to debut its free ‘Advice Shop’ at InstallerSHOW 2025

MHK UK has announced that it will debut its Advice Shop for installers this year, at InstallerSHOW 2025, hosted at the NEC Birmingham. Visitors to the show can stop by MHK UK‘s stand in the BiKBBI Village and ask any questions they want about starting a kitchen showroom business. Slots will be available on a first come, first served basis.

For entrepreneurial installers who are looking to make the transition into retailing, this next step can be a daunting and unfamiliar one. MHK UK has been a long-term partner and supporter of BiKBBI in their endeavour to represent thousands of specialist installation businesses nationwide. The Advice Shop has been conceived as a space for prospective installers turned retailers to ask any questions they have without judgment or to simply to get an idea of where to start. This unique opportunity for installers is a move set to further strengthen MHK‘s commitment to supporting the sector.

David Morris, sales director for MHK, said: "In recent years, more installers have been future-proofing their businesses by expanding into kitchen and bathroom product sales. Some have even opened their own successful showrooms. We admire the entrepreneurial spirit. But setting up a shop can be daunting, which is why this year we're inviting installers to ask our experienced team any questions they want and trust they'll receive sound advice."

David Morris will also deliver an in-depth talk all about opening your own showroom business on Wednesday 25th June, 3.30-4.15pm on the Kitchen of the Future stage. Even for installers starting their retail venture without a credit history, MHK UK can help. From improving cash flow with extended payment terms and centralised invoice management, to offering guidance on showroom setup and tailored marketing, MHK provides the full-service support network installers need to turn their ambition into action.

Backed by a community of over 4,200 partners across Europe, MHK says it empowers its members to grow with confidence, compete with the big chains, and build profitable, future-ready businesses.
