Franke UK introduces new Mythos 2Gether Slide hob extractor

Franke UK has launched the premium Mythos 2gether Slide hob extractor with a patented automatic vent opening, which it says is the only one of its kind on the market. The product, designed and manufactured by Franke together with its Air Expert Faber, sits at the pinnacle of Franke’s hob extractor portfolio. It is one of 6 new models being launched this year by Franke, offering retailers opportunities to integrate powerful extraction into contemporary living spaces.

Winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2026, the Mythos 2gether Slide combines a 4-zone induction hob with an integrated extractor. At the heart of the design is Franke's patented automatic vent opening system offering a hands-free experience for the user. When extraction is required, the central vent opens automatically to reveal the extraction zone before closing when no longer in use, maintaining the hob's minimalist appearance.

Crafted from premium matt black glass, the 83cm wide hob features a low-reflection finish that is silky to the touch and offers enhanced scratch resistance while helping to reduce the appearance of fingerprints.
