As popular furniture trends like micro-Shaker recessed panels, fluted fronts, and curved edges continue to embrace wood in the kitchen, Rotpunkt has launched Forest Brown Oak, a new wood veneer door range, that enables designers to adopt different interior styles using the same finish.

Forest Brown Oak is designed to emulate the most desirable native oak species, and features a prominent open woodgrain with fine textured surface, which throughout the day ranges from light tan to medium brown.

In the kitchen shown here, Memory FL Zero creates a sink station on the left, and a full-height bank of appliances within the main cook zone in new Forest Brown Oak. Available in a range of authentic wood colours, Memory FL Zero can be designed as a slab door or with the addition of colour-matched handles like Rotpunkt’s signature Tokyo handle in the sink area, also in Forest Brown Oak.

In addition, Memory RI wall units featuring Forest Brown Oak vin the cook zone present a contemporary fluted surface with distinct vertical grooves. When natural light hits the cabinetry, each groove creates pockets of light and shadow to bring architectural depth, which is further accentuated by the straight-grained brown oak surfaces. A Forest Brown Oak Illuminated Wall Solution brings light and customisable storage into the cook zone with a full splashback covering the exposed wall between the worktop and upper cabinets.
