Holte and Dutch tile brand Palet join forces for London Design Festival 2026

Kitchen design studio Holte and Dutch tile brand Palet joined forces for London Design Festival 2026, which ran from 18th - 26th September, unveiling custom-glazed tile combinations at Holte's canal-side East London showroom during Shoreditch Design Week.

Using Palet's pattern library and printing technology, Holte has curated 5 combinations drawing on classic textile traditions, from moquette and gingham to Welsh blankets and the work of Josef and Anni Albers and Marianne Straub. Shown as 2 kitchen splashbacks alongside Palet's exhibition boards, the collection can be ordered directly via Palet's online design tool.

The presentation also featured Hand & Eye Studio's new I-beam light, designed by Mentsen with bespoke paper from The Paper Foundation, alongside a high-gloss version of the studio's extruded terracotta A-beam series, together exploring craft and the dialogue between structure, surface and form.
