MHK-UK, the UK arm of kitchen retailer support organisation MHK, has revealed that it has just paid out record bonuses to its retailer members.
MHK-UK, which is now in its fourth year of operating in the UK, believes that its broad portfolio of furniture, appliance and accessory product ranges at competitive trade prices and with open-ended credit terms, has allowed MHK-UK’s members to benefit from higher sales volumes alongside favourable cash-flow situations. This has seen 2020 bonus payouts, from MHK’s suppliers, increase by 40% over 2019 figures. The record-breaking bonuses were paid to members at the end of April.
Audus Kitchens, with showrooms in St Albans and Wokingham, says it received a bonus payment in excess of £65,000 through a combination of sales volume and a carefully chosen range of suppliers. Graham Audus, MD and founder of Audus Kitchens, was delighted with the outcome. “We have only been with MHK-UK since April 2020," he said. "The business support that we have received from MHK-UK can really only be described as first class. This additional financial contribution will be used for a wide variety of re-investment projects, which will assist in making both our offering and business position even stronger.”
David Morris, UK sales manager for MHK, said: “The bonuses are very much indicative of the ‘win-win’ relationship that exists between MHK-UK and our membership. We experience growth and success through helping our network of independent retailers to become more successful. However, our combined success is down to far more than excellent product, great margins and credit terms; it’s about the ‘whole package’. MHK-UK supports the independent retailer, regardless of how long they have been established, with business advice and planning as well as qualified lead generation – working with our digital services trade partner. This level of support is what makes MHK-UK a very different proposition from perceived similar organisations.”
