Lakes adds ‘game-changing’ Modular walk-in collection to portfolio

Lakes Showering Spaces has extended its modular shower enclosure offering with the launch of a new walk-in collection.

The new modular walk-in range comes in a range of five colour finishes – silver, matt black, gun metal, brushed nickel and brushed brass, with a sixth, brushed bronze, set to follow in the near future. It also offers 28 configuration options and a choice of 8mm and 10mm glass panels and hardware options.

The versatility of the collection – which Lakes believes offers one of the most customisable options in its field on the market - means it is suitable for recess/alcove, corner and flat wall installations and can be installed onto a shower tray or flush fit directly to a tiled wetroom floor for an accessible solution.

The scope for personalisation offered by a modular range is infinite, with consumers able to choose their glass panels, bracing and stabilising preferences, glass connecting and deflector options and of course, colour finish.

Mike Gahir, Lakes’ managing director, said: “This is a real game-changing launch for Lakes, we’re incredibly proud to be bringing our reputation for high-quality, stylish and installer-friendly products to the walk-in market.

“Demand for products that offer personalisation for the consumer while making the lives of bathroom retailers, designers, and specifiers easier is growing all the time and we’re confident that now is the right time for our modular walk-in range to launch.

“Whatever your showering space demand, style, need, scale or budget, our intelligent designs and market leading engineering mean there’s a solution for everyone.”

The launch of Lakes’ modular walk-in collection comes after more than a year in Research & Development and market testing, representing the culmination of a collaborative effort between Lakes’ UK based design and development team and the engineering team at the company’s wholly-owned factory. The range comes with Lake’s lifetime guarantee.

Gahir continued: “2024 is about keeping pace with the market and bringing our Lakes stamp of quality to customers. The industry is already starting to sit up and take note and this launch is another major step in the right direction for us.”
