Shower enclosure brand Lakes has appointed a new warehouse and logistics manager as it builds on recent growth and ambitious plans for the future. Kevin Hart, who brings 40 years of warehouse and distribution experience to the role, has joined Lakes with the remit of developing the company’s warehouse management systems and strategies in order to maximise customer experience.
Kevin has previously worked in a wide range of warehouse and distribution roles, including management and consultancy. He said: “Lakes is an exciting company to be a part of right now, there’s so much work being done behind the scenes to make sure our customers are getting the best products and service possible so as a team, we are all moving in the same direction."
Lakes MD Mike Gahir said: “Kevin has hit the ground running and we are really excited to see how his experience and skills benefit Lakes and our customers.”
The Lakes board recently completed a management buy-out of the business, as well as securing a £3.75m funding facility in order to help meet rising customer demand and changing trends in bathroom and shower designs.
