Masterclass Kitchens, a leading British kitchen furniture brand supplied through independent kitchen retailers across the UK, is celebrating a significant milestone as its parent company, Sigma 3 Kitchens, reaches 50 years in business in 2025. Established in 1975 in Barry, South Wales, Sigma 3 Kitchens has grown from a family-run workshop into a trusted industry leader, blending heritage craftsmanship with innovative design.
Over the past five decades, Masterclass Kitchens has become synonymous with premium quality and design-led solutions, offering a diverse portfolio of kitchen collections that cater to modern and traditional tastes. The brand supports a network of independent retailers, providing them with stylish, functional, and tailored kitchen furniture solutions to help them succeed in a competitive market.
As part of its 50th-anniversary celebrations, Sigma 3 Kitchens is marking the occasion with an ambitious £20million investment project. This initiative will triple the company’s manufacturing capacity, resulting in a combined production space of 200,000 square feet and enhancing its ability to support independent retailers across the UK. Backed by a skilled team of over 230 staff, this investment is a testament to the company’s forward-thinking approach and commitment to futureproofing its operations in a competitive marketplace.
Brian Lakin, chairman & founder of Sigma 3 Kitchens, said: "Celebrating 50 years in business is a proud moment for the entire Sigma 3 family. Our journey has been one of constant evolution, and our success is a testament to the hard work, passion, and dedication of our people. As we look to the future, our ongoing investment will lay the foundations for even greater achievements, allowing us to better serve our customers and maintain our position as an industry leader."
