The first 'Great KBB Run' is to be held on 6th and 7th September 2025. Planned to be an annual event going forward, it aims to give those in the industry an event that promotes wellbeing and community, while bringing together all sides of the sector for one big challenge.
Organised by Toby Griffin of KBB Support, this is a virtual run (or jog!), with entrants choosing to cover a distance of either 10km or a half-marathon in their locality, then posting the completed run via an app – such as Strava or Garmin – as evidence of their efforts.
The entry fee is £20, and those who finish will be sent a Great KBB Run T-shirt; with the profit being donated to The Youth Sport Trust – a children's charity for improving the education and development of every child through play and sport.
Although ideally suited to those who run alone, organisers hope that this is a good opportunity for team-building and for companies to get everyone together for a group outing.
