The Egger Group is has announced that Roland Auer will join the global sales & marketing team as chief marketing officer (CMO) of the Egger Group. Auer worked for the surface specialist and longstanding partner company Schattdecor for over 30 years, most recently as CEO. Within Egger, he will contribute his extensive industry knowledge and expertise as CMO starting on 1st May 2025.
Roland Auer's decades in key positions at Schattdecor have earned him a reputation as an experienced manager and recognised expert in the industry. He showed particular skill in developing and maintaining international customer relationships, partnerships and teams. As CMO at Egger, he will take on a leading Group role in marketing and product management and report directly to Michael Egger Jr., chief sales officer at Egger Group. His focus will be on aligning the global marketing organisation with future customer requirements and needs.
