Moores has made a strategic change to the operations team, announcing the promotion of Laura Horne to senior operations manager. Laura has been an integral part of the Moores team for the past 2 years, driving continuous improvement initiatives that have significantly enhanced the company’s operational processes.
Previously serving as continuous improvement manager, Laura spearheaded several key projects focused on returnable packaging, stock control, and customer process enhancements. Her expertise in continuous improvement will be invaluable in her new role, as she aims to foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within the operations team.
“I’m looking forward to my new role and hope I can build on the continuous improvement foundations that I have worked on over the last 2 years,” said Laura. “It is an exciting time to be at Moores, with a real sense of building the business and investing in our people. I’m also passionate about encouraging more women into manufacturing and hope I can act as a role model for some of the women in my team in the earlier stages of their careers.”
Moores says it is committed to upskilling and promoting talent from within, and Laura's promotion reflects the company's dedication to developing its workforce. The company added the leadership team is confident that Laura will excel in her new position, further strengthening Moores’ commitment to operational excellence.
