Hansgrohe has announced it will be unveiling its new Warwick-based UK headquarters to key stakeholders and customers in April. The brand new, purpose-built head office in Warwick will be officially opened by Hansgrohe Group CEO, Hans Juergen Kalmbach, and MD for Hansgrohe UK & Ireland, Jay Phillips.
The HQ move to Tournament Fields located to the south-west of Warwick, is part of an overall £5m investment and a key landmark in the company’s strategic growth plans. The new head office now provides 40,000 square ft of capacity, more than doubling the size of Hansgrohe’s previous UK HQ footprint in Surrey. The relocation brings the business even closer to customers, providing more opportunities for showroom and merchant retailers to interact face-to-face, supported by a customer services operation and strong stock availability.
At the ISH trade fair last year, Hansgrohe unveiled a brand-new range of products which saw it launch into ceramics, furniture, and mirrors for the first time. Part of an overall ambition to become a complete bathroom solutions provider, the new HQ provides 5,000sq ft of dedicated showroom space for customers to see and experience the extended range. In addition, working water displays will showcase the company’s leading portfolio of high-quality showers, taps and accessories – across the 2 brands, AXOR and Hansgrohe.
Following the official opening at the end of April, retail customers and installers will be invited to visit the new facility, meet staff, and tour the premises. This includes the new, dedicated, state-of-the-art showroom space, as well as a new, bespoke Installer Academy, where specialist hansgrohe training support for trade professionals will be held later in the year. Part of strengthening its offering to the trade, the expansion in training facilities will provide enhanced access to technical support from Hansgrohe’s product experts and the opportunity for direct, practical experience across the product portfolio.
The architectural and design community is already well-served through Hansgrohe’s contemporary ‘Water Studio’ in Clerkenwell, central London, and this facility will remain in place. The new head office has been designed by Warwick-based architect, Costorphine & Wright, and constructed by local contractors, Benniman Ltd. It is easily accessible from the M40, making it ideal as a central hub for office and distribution activities.
Jay Phillips, MD of Hansgrohe UK & Ireland, pictured, said: “This is an incredibly exciting time for everyone at Hansgrohe UK. We have ambitious plans to take the company forward in the coming years through continued product innovation and leading the market. This significant investment in our state-of-the-art new head office is a vital part of driving this commitment. Having everything available under one roof, from a spacious showroom and training, to warehousing and distribution, will ensure we are able to best meet the needs of our busy customers and support them with their business. This also reinforces our goal to be the ‘easiest to do business with; and will further improve our already high levels of stock and service. In addition, our central location just off the M40 means we are more accessible than ever to our retail partners and installers.”
