Elite home appliance brand, Sub-Zero & Wolf, has opened the doors to its third European showroom, in the Salamanca district of Madrid. Situated in an iconic building at 85 Alcalá Street across from Retiro Park, the company says the 3,770sq ft space is set to become a destination for lovers of gastronomy, design and sophistication.
Joining existing showrooms in London and Cannes, the new Madrid outpost has been designed as an immersive experience in the world of haute cuisine. Visitors can explore the brand's latest appliances in various multi-functional zones, fully immersing themselves in the Sub-Zero & Wolf universe. To achieve this, Sub-Zero & Wolf enlisted the help of James Brookman, an international design firm renowned for its work across luxury residential, commercial, spa and wellness projects.
Spanning 2 floors, the showroom showcases a contemporary and minimalist style. Tactile materials such as wood and stone are paired with a monochrome colour palette that complements Sub-Zero & Wolf's stainless steel appliances. At the heart of the showroom lies a professional-grade theatre kitchen, which will be utilised for live demonstrations, educational classes and cooking events. There is also a wine storage area, serving as a cellar for exclusive events.
The final element of the showroom is a circular meeting room, equipped with cinematic presentation screens which will be enjoyed by Sub-Zero & Wolf’s dealer and interior designer network and used to host training sessions, video conferences and private client events.
"The opening of our third European showroom is a milestone for Sub-Zero & Wolf and we are delighted to establish a presence in the beautiful upmarket neighbourhood of Salamanca. As a brand, we are constantly innovating and this new experiential model is transforming traditional showrooms. Our goal is to introduce our premium products and customer service throughout more key cities in Europe," said Ricky Davies, director of Sub-Zero & Wolf, UK and Europe.
