Egger launches bespoke worktop tools to support retailers

Wood-based panel manufacturer Egger has launched bespoke worktop tools to help simplify and streamline the planning process for retailers.

Egger offers a one-stop shop for worktops, decorative boards, laminate and edging in matching and coordinating finishes and has created its comprehensive Decorative Collection 24+, to help save retailers time and resources.

Of the 39 finishes available in Egger’s worktop range, 16 have a matching 18 mm Eurodekor Faced Board, available from UK stock, making it straightforward to create an ‘overall’ look in interior design. The full worktop range has matching splashbacks and upstands, and all come with a 10-year guarantee if installed using EGGERSeal Adhesive and the Egger Fitting Guide.

To help reduce the time spent on decor selection, Egger has curated the Worktop Combination Guide to offer on-trend decor pairing advice by suggesting decors for frontals and carcasses that complement the chosen worktop.

Another way Egger says it strives to help streamline the selection process is through its Worktops Visualiser. Here retailers can try out decor combinations across 13 different kitchen styles, featuring both 38 mm and 25 mm worktops. Once the design has been finalised, it can be saved and shared with customers. This service is available on Egger’s website and can be embedded on retailers’ own websites so customers can try combinations before they start the design process.

Anna Gibson, product manager, Egger UK and Ireland, said: ”We want to help make it easier for you to support your customers during the planning stage. We aim to save you time by providing inspiration and guidance when it comes to both products and decor combinations.

“Our worktop collection offers a low maintenance, cost-effective alternative to oak, marble, stone and granite surfaces. The postformed worktops have a tight radius and an innovative HDF strip to offer high impact resistance and a smooth finish. The range focuses on authentic decors and textures that offer affordable alternatives to real materials, but with all the added benefits of laminate.”
