Interzum to return to Cologne with new 'industry-relevant' strapline

Furniture production and interior construction trade fair Interzum is set to return to Cologne from 20th - 23rd May 2025, under the new guiding theme 'Rethinking Resources: Circular and Biobased Solutions'. Organisers Koelnmesse say the 'industry-relevant' strapline will be visible throughout the trade fair and will permeate the diverse event programme as well as be demonstrated on exhibitors' stands where visitors can expect to find 'groundbreaking innovations, technical breakthroughs and sustainable material concepts'.

Thematically, Interzum will be divided into the 3 established product areas of previous years. 'Materials & Nature' focuses on wood, veneers, parquet flooring, interior works, decorative surfaces, decor papers, laminates, wood-based panels, laminated plastic, mineral materials, surface treatments, embossing cylinders, press plates, and edges. 'Function & Components' features lamps and lighting systems, semi-finished products for cabinets, kitchens, locks, offices and modular furniture fittings, and built-in parts. Finally 'Textile & Machinery' focuses on machinery for upholstery and bedding, upholstery materials, upholstery accessories, cover fabrics, leather, and adhesives.

Koelnmesse estimates that this year's 4-day event will attract more than 62,000 visitors – in particular product developers, designers, and architects – from 150 countries, who will be coming to see products from 1,600 visitors from 59 countries. Exhibitors include Blum, Hettich, Egger, Kesseböhmer, Vauth-Sagel and Salice.
