Rangemaster introduces energy-efficiency upgrades to fridge-freezers

Rangemaster has introduced an upgrade on all models in its American-style and French-door fridge-freezer collections, in what it says is a bid to strengthen the brand’s growing freestanding range. The SXS, SXS Deluxe and DXD models now feature improved specifications designed to enhance energy ratings and reduce running costs by up to 12%.

In addition to energy-efficiency upgrades, the models are also said to offer internal improvements, including new LED spotlights with surrounds in a contemporary Inox finish and a co-ordinating flat metal panel that runs the full length of the back wall.

The SXS, SXS Deluxe and DXD models have an improved 43dB noise-level rating and F energy-efficiency rating. Key features include the unique RangeFresh preserver technology that removes ethylene gas from inside the cavity to eliminate odours; ‘even-circ’ keeps food fresher for longer, using state-of-the-art technology to minimise heat transfer from the walls inside the refrigerator; and Ionizer technology, which works by spreading negative ions to neutralise air and dust particles, further improving the air quality and eliminating underlying odours.

The collection of improved French-door DXD, American-style SXS and SXS Deluxe models are available to retailers now in four colours: Black, Stainless Steel, Ivory and Dark Inox.
