Designer, manufacturer and supplier of waterproof bathroom wall panels, Grant Westfield, has been acquired by bathroom supplies group Norcros in a deal reported to be worth in the region of £90million.
Norcros, which operates in the UK under the Triton, Merlyn, Vado, Croydex, Abode, Johnson Tiles and Norcros Adhesives brands, and has a global workforce of around 2,200, said the move is set to enhance the group's portfolio.
Commenting on the acquisition, Nick Kelsall, Norcros chief executive officer, said: "The acquisition of Grant Westfield is a compelling strategic and financial addition to the group. Its products will broaden the group's bathroom product offer as well as providing a number of meaningful growth opportunities. I look forward to working with Sarah Law and her team to grow and develop the Grant Westfield business further, both in the UK and internationally."
