Norcros Plc has appointed Andy Baines as MD for Vado, succeeding Iain Gibson who is retiring at the end of August after holding the position for the last two years.
Andy joins Vado with an extensive career history of 26 years devoted to the bathroom industry, the last 13 of which were in Andy’s second spell at Kohler where he most recently held the position of general manager for global commercial products, kitchens, and bath group. Prior to this Andy spent five successful years as president of Robern in the USA and five years as new product development director for Kohler Mira/Kohler K&B UK.
Andy is an accomplished, commercially focused, and innovative leader who will be utilising his industry experience to ensure Vado remains at the forefront of the bathroom industry.
Speaking of his appointment, Baines said: “I am an innovator and designer at heart. I have always been passionate about helping create things that enhance peoples’ lives. Joining Vado, who share the same values and at a pivotal point in the brands history, gives me and the team a great opportunity to drive the business forward to do incredible things.”
He added: “I believe leadership is an honour, not a status. It is my pleasure to provide a safe and fair space for people to be themselves, flex their imaginations and innovate in ways they never thought possible. I am looking forward to being part of the next chapter of Vado’s exciting history delivering products that improve the way people experience bathrooms every day.”
