Mereway Kitchens has announced that it has recently signed an agreement with The Used Kitchen Company confirming an arrangement between the two brands that will commence in January 2021.
The Used Kitchen Company is said to have saved nearly 18,000 tonnes of waste from landfill since it started in 2005, and sell for over 1,000 showrooms nationwide. Mereway is encouraging its retail partners to take part in the scheme that will not only be a valuable income stream for their consumer clients, but will also make a significant contribution to landfill reduction.
Mereway’s managing director Mark Mills, pictured, said: “Prolonging the life of a Mereway kitchen makes total sense and is definitely a win-win for our retailers and their customers, the Used Kitchen Company buyers and, of course, the environment. Our kitchens are built to last and we know that they can give many years of service and pleasure beyond that of their first 'owner'! We are pleased to be working with The Used Kitchen Company who has been championing the cause of kitchen recycling since 2005.”
