German kitchen manufacturer Schüller has announced it is taking over the company shares of longstanding partner company InHouse Inspired Room Design Ltd, which first began acting as a trading partner and providing customer support for Schüller 18 years ago.
According to a press statement, both Schüller and InHouse have now reached a point where 'both companies would like to face current and future challenges in an even more consistent and concentrated manner: responding even faster where more efficient solutions are increasingly required for existing and future retail partners'.
Another factor in this decision is the mindset and timing for Wayne Dance, company founder and majority shareholder of InHouse. Wayne Dance said: “This was a logical step to take InHouse to its next level of development. This year I will be 65 and after a fantastic 37 years in the industry, it’s time for a more relaxed lifestyle and for the next generation to step forward. What we have achieved over the past 18 years together with Schüller is fantastic and is a good basis for further growth.”
This important step was taken together with the three other shareholders: Stuart Dance, Malo Tasle and Chris Dance, who will continue to hold senior management positions. Wayne Dance will continue as a consultant in the coming months to pass on his experience to the next generation and to assist a successful transfer period. The team at the head office in Hexham and the sales force in the market will remain.
Markus Schüller, MD at Schüller, said: “InHouse, as well as Wayne Dance and his entire team, have succeeded in building up a solid client structure. For this trust and for this success, we would like to thank the entire InHouse team, but above all the trade partners we have gained over the years, who have motivated us to take this step to work even closer to the market. The opportunity created by the takeover to be even closer to the customer, and to do so with the same team, gives us a perspective for sustainable growth in a sales market that is relevant for Schüller Kitchens. We would like to express our thanks to our trade partners and look forward to a successful future together.”
