Bristan Group welcomes Martin Mongan as new CEO

Bristan Group has announced that former MD of Hansgrohe UK Martin Mongan is to take over as the group's CEO from February 2021. He takes over at Bristan from former CEO Darius Padler who is set to leave the business at the end of this year, while the group's CFO Ken Ellis will act as interim CEO until Mongan assumes his new role in the new year.

Mongan has over 25 years of industry experience, having held senior roles at both Kohler Mira and Jacuzzi UK, before joining Hansgrohe in 2011, and is said by Bristan to be 'well placed to build on the Group's established reputation for 'customer first' to drive continued growth'.

Darius Padler said: “Martin is a well-known and well-liked industry character with a history of delivering exceptional sales growth in the businesses he has led. This is an exciting appointment for the Group.”

Of his new role Mongan said: “Bristan Group is a strong and solid business that has grown market share in 2020, creating a brilliant platform for future success.

“I’m looking forward to working with the team and taking the business forward onto the next stage of its journey; steering it through the challenges presented by COVID, Brexit, and changing customer behaviour, to ensure that the Group continues to deliver exceptional products and services for its customers, and profitable growth for its shareholders.”

Bristan Group is owned by global home improvement supplier Masco, and is the parent company of Bristan, Heritage and Cascade brands.
