Hansgrohe's Jay Phillips on making bespoke faster and more accessible

Jay Phillips, MD of Hansgrohe UK & Ireland, looks at how important speed has become when it comes to offering the best services to customers and expands on why you need not miss out on bespoke luxury in the process.

Retailers have high standards and expectations when it comes to meeting consumer needs. After all, we are a nation that has become spoilt with choice and convenience. In fact, studies have shown that shopping must be fast and efficient in order to keep up with consumer needs.

And when it comes to renovation or installation, speed really is of the essence for retailers – but not at the sacrifice of quality. Many customers may not want to further delay the much-awaited completion date, nor do they want to settle for anything less than their ideal expectations.

This is why we now provide our UK retailers with the ability to get their hands on more than 1,500 AXOR SKUs within two weeks of ordering. Our aim is to support enhanced customer service opportunities for showrooms and delight clients keen to see their stunning AXOR brassware, and more recently ceramics, installed as soon as possible.

The most popular luxury items currently in demand
Coloured finishes are becoming just as popular in the bathroom as standard chrome for those who want something with a bespoke feel in the bathroom, and this latest move means some of the most requested product finishes can now be in a customer’s hands with even greater speed.

Standing the test of time with our premium FinishPlus, Matt Black boasts elegance while remaining a bold, bathroom statement. The AXOR One exposed showerpipe with overhead and handheld shower in matt black is a current bestseller. For extra grandeur, metallic finishes are also rising in demand. Brushed bronze, available across several AXOR ranges, is currently one of our most popular finishes offering a softer, warmer tone for those inspired by the ‘spa-throom’ trend – a style that is continuing to grow in demand.

Our most popular brushed bronze products include the AXOR Starck baton hand shower and the AXOR Starck Overhead shower, as well as the wall-mounted AXOR One single lever basin mixer for concealed installation.

With customers’ homes being a personal space, AXOR FinishPlus undergoes a refined finishing process resistant to external factors to ensure exceptional robustness, durability, and scratch-resistance, all while setting the standard for colour depth and reflective brilliance. With more and more consumers leaning into ‘eco conscious luxury’ our FInishPlus range also stands the test of time to provide longevity in every bathroom, so that brassware continues to wow years after it is installed.

‘Two Weeks to Individual Luxury’
We understand that individual style and personality will reflect the items customers choose to complement their homes. This is why AXOR partners with some of the world’s leading designers and architects to create iconic objects for luxury bathroom projects.

The AXOR One range, including taps, showers and accessories, form a major part of our new two week offering for UK retailers – designed in collaboration with award winning designers Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, where minimalism meets sophistication.

We also want to set the standard for individualisation in the bathroom, empowering architects, interior decorators and our customers to bring to life their unique creative vision that expresses their personalities.

To perfect this, we brought in Antonio Citterio, Italian architect, designer and renowned perfectionist who designs AXOR’s Citterio range, which features understated yet distinct luxuriousness. His floorstanding thermostatic bath mixer tap – in Brushed Bronze and Brushed Black Chrome – are firm favourites and also available within the new two-week lead time.
