Dulux has announced that the brand's Colour of the Year 2021 is Brave Ground, an earthy shade of beige that is described as a 'warm, natural neutral that's an enabling and stabilising colour'.
Each year Dulux's in-house colour specialists, alongside a team of international design experts, discuss global trends, and then assess how they will affect us and translate into the mood of the moment. According to the company, following the challenges brought about by year's global pandemic, we're all reassessing what really matters in our lives, taking stock and finding a new a positive way forward, which is leading us to seek out a versatile shade like Brave Ground.
This follows on from last year's shade Tranquil Dawn, which was selected by experts for its freshness symbolisng a new start, and from 2019's warm amber shade Spiced Honey, which was chosen to reflect a mood of positivity and optimism.
