CDA has added the nostalgic Florence and Betty models to its refrigeration range. The new fridge-freezers come as two different models in a selection of soft colours. Florence’s 60/40 split is perfect for families who go for fresh and frozen; whilst Betty’s top-mounted design allows more space for frozen food. Both models are available in Meadow green, bluey-violet Sea Holly, soft neutral Barley cream or Tea Rose pink, pictured here.
Florence is frost free and offers temperature control with an electronic control panel that offers features such as the 'quick cool mode' to keep the fridge at 2°C for 12 hours when it has just been filled with shopping. Another feature is the 'quick freezer mode,' keeping the freezer at -24°C for 24 hours for times when a lot of fresh food is being added. A powerful inverter compressor maintains a consistent temperature by running at an optimum speed, making it energy efficient. Florence has a 330litre capacity and interior features include a salad crisper drawer for keeping fruit and vegetables fresher for longer.
Betty (pictured) is a smaller retro classic, boasting a spacious 206litre capacity with a 4 star rated top-mounted freezer, internal shelving, wine rack and balconies that can be moved for efficient storage.
“We are delighted to launch our exciting new retro refrigeration range which offers the high performance our owners have come to expect at a price that makes great appliances far more accessible. With the functionality of a modern combination fridge freezer rolled into this classic skin, both Florence and Betty offer something to suit households of every size who want to show their personality and make their kitchen truly theirs,” said Judy Patterson, CDA’s cooling category manager.
