Bathroom retailer Ripples has expanded its national presence with the opening of a new showroom in Oxford.
Owned by Chris Gillard, who has over 20 years of retail experience, the new Oxford studio takes the number of showrooms in the family-owned Ripples franchise operation to 18. It follows the opening of a studio in Truro in June and one in Nottingham in September. Ripples says that two further showrooms, one in Lindfield and another in Tunbridge Wells, are set to open soon as part of its plans to have 20 by the end of the year.
The new Ripples Oxford showroom features products such as hand-painted boat baths and concrete basins, brushed gold brassware and marble tiles from bathroom suppliers across Europe.
Chris Gilleard, owner and director of the new Ripples Oxford showroom, said: “I am delighted to open a Ripples showroom in the heart of Oxford. Having gained over 20 years experience in retail, I understand the importance of every part of the process; from sourcing quality products and creating inspiring designs, right the way through to the final installation. I’m looking forward to bringing my knowledge and passion for bathrooms to Oxford and to be doing so with the support of the wider Ripples family”.
Ripples, which marked its 35th anniversary this year, was founded in 1988 by Roger and Sandra Kyme.
