ASKO announces Michelin-starred chef as new brand ambassador

Scandinavian appliance brand, ASKO, has announced renowned Michelin-starred chef, Tom Aikens, as its Global Chef Ambassador for 2024. As an ASKO Chef Ambassador, Aikens will collaborate closely with the brand to showcase the versatility and performance of its kitchen appliances. From innovative cooking techniques to imaginative recipes, he will provide exclusive insights and inspiration to food enthusiasts eager to elevate their culinary skills and bring some Michelin-starred inspiration into their homes.

Aikens will also support the brand at events throughout the year, with confirmed appearances so far at EuroCucina in Milan this month and IFA in Berlin in September. Visitors will be treated to live cooking demonstrations, showcasing the quality of the ASKO appliances and a Michelinstarred tasting experience.

At age 26, Aikens became the youngest British chef ever to be awarded two Michelin stars. He has over a decade of success working alongside famous chefs and in Michelin-starred restaurants. He currently holds a Michelin star at his flagship restaurant, Muse, in London and also runs restaurants in Tokyo, Jakarta, and Qatar.

Commenting on the new partnership Tom Aikens, said: “Joining forces with ASKO as its Chef Ambassador is an exciting opportunity to share my passion for sustainable, seasonal cuisine with a global audience. Together we will champion culinary excellence and inspire home cooks to elevate their cooking experience.”

Anders Hellgren, global marketing manager at ASKO, commented: “We are proud to welcome Tom Aikens to the ASKO family as our esteemed Chef Ambassador. His unparalleled expertise and dedication to sustainable cooking perfectly aligns with our brand values, and we are excited to embark on this culinary journey together.”
