New additional TKC site will allow company to double in size

TKC has announced a major investment in a new additional site that will facilitate the next stage of the company’s ambitious growth plans and allow it to double in size. The new site, pictured here, will double TKC’s operational capacity, while providing a new state-of-the-art customer experience centre.

The new site, located 2 minutes from TKC’s headquarters in Denton, Greater Manchester, provides an additional 65,000sq ft that will be tailored to the company’s needs. The new site once fully operational will house new paint lines that will substantially increase TKC’s painted capacity following increased demand in its paint-to-order service. The site also provides an additional c10,000 pallet spaces that will allow stock to be increased to record levels enabling the company to greatly enhance its product portfolio.

In the process of being finalised is a new 5000sq ft customer experience centre that will showcase TKC’s product range, including dedicated paint-to-order and true handleless zones. The customer experience centre on the upper floor of the building will also provide a dedicated training area as well as a new product development suite to ensure customer visits are both inspirational and reflective of the TKC proposition.

Roy Saunders, CEO at TKC, said: “TKC was established in 1989 and has since become a pillar of the KBB industry. Over the last 5 years, we’ve doubled the size of the business and it’s our intention to repeat that in the next 5 years. Securing our new site is a key strategic step in that journey, which will allow us to significantly enhance our product range and to showcase it to our customers. TKC product is renowned for it’s quality and value and we’re looking forward to inspiring our customers when they visit us and to enhance an operational model that will help us deliver a further £40m of sales."
