BMA to host free webinar for Mental Health Awareness Week

As part of this year's Mental Health Awareness Week (10th - 16th May) the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) is hosting a webinar on the topic.

COVID-19 has presented new and unique challenges for organisations with many employees working remotely, often for the first time.

This free online event will take place from 10.30 - 11.30am on Tuesday, 11th May, and is open to members and non members.

BMA chief executive, Tom Reynolds, pictured, said: “The pandemic is causing both mental and physical strain for everyone to some degree, and the uncertainty we have all faced has had an impact.

“This topic matters, both for your own wellbeing and for those around you. So much has changed, and as we look forward to life on the other side of pandemic, our mental health and resilience is so important.”

The webinar will cover what we really mean by mental health, tips and advice for engaging staff, extending the role of wellbeing initiatives post COVID-19, integration and communication, and better signposting both internal and external wellbeing resources and partnerships.

The speakers are:
Ed Morris, technical manager, Altecnic
James Capell-Abra, founder, Stress Matters
Sofia Charalambous, sales & marketing director, Bathroom Origins
