Lundhs Real Stone specified for Oslo fashion concept store

Lundhs Real Stone has revealed that a number of its surfaces have been specified for Oslo fashion concept store FWSS. Adorning a variety of surfaces in a range of finishes and colourways, including the floor, display areas, walls and the counter, the company says that the natural stone has been used to create a 'unique' shop design, while helping to display merchandise.

The shop floor is made up of natural stone floor tiles in Lundhs Blue, and laid in a chevron pattern. Large triangular slabs in a mixture of Lundhs Royal finishes provide a backdrop at the rear of the retail space, while solid blocks of Lundhs Antique, Lundhs Royal and Baltic Green combine with wood to complete the central counter area.

Made from Larvikite, and quarried on the southern coast of Norway in a town called Larvik, Lundhs Real Stone is said to offer durability, as well as high scratch and stain resistance, and is therefore said to be well suited to busy, high-footfall areas. The largest producer of natural stone in Northern Europe, Lundhs extracts rough blocks of high-quality stones from its own quarries in Norway and exports the materials to stone factories around the world. With a portfolio of seven natural stone types, Lundhs works with a network of distributors around the globe, with each product traceable from quarry to end product.
