VitrA's Margaret Talbot joins board of the BMA

The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) has announced that Margaret Talbot, UK & Europe marketing manager for VitrA, has been appointed to the board.

Margaret has been at VitrA for six years and has a proven track record in the sector, managing large marketing budgets and dynamic, cross-functional teams. With more than 25 years' experience leading and managing marketing and strategy functions in various sectors including manufacturing, telecoms, education and retail, she brings a broad range of commercial experience to the position.

She joins the BMA at a pivotal time in the association's growth and development, said chief executive, Tom Reynolds. He said: “I am extremely grateful to welcome Margaret to the board – her expertise and guidance will help promote and evolve the association.

“At BMA we have two clear strategic priorities – sustainability and product compliance. This focus is driven by the members who are dedicating a lot of resource to these areas.

“In the coming months and years, environmental developments will transform the bathroom industry, and the BMA plays a critical role engaging with stakeholders and supporting the sector.

“It will be a privilege to have Margaret’s input and I look forward to working alongside her.”

Margaret Talbot added: “It’s an exciting time to be guiding and shaping the future of the Bathroom Manufacturers Association. I am honoured to be joining the board – the BMA is well-respected in the industry and I am excited to get involved at a strategic level and to work with the team.”
