Spanish bathroom manufacturer Acquabella has been named a winner in this year's edition of the globally renowned iF Design Award. The winning products, the Opal Quiz bathtub, pictured, and the Tempo Arabba shower tray, won best product (bathroom category).
The Opal Quiz bath is said to combine avant-garde geometric design with a new texture and a sculptured shape, while the woven textile-finish of Arabba offers designers further choice when it comes to introducing added visual interest into a scheme.
An annual event, the award is organised by Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH. The iF 98 judging panel comprises independent design experts from all over the world, judging almost 10,000 entries from 52 countries.
