There are still a few places left on the three-year part-time Foundation Degree Arts (FDA) course in Kitchen Design, according to Buckinghamshire New University (BNU), which is encouraging would-be kitchen designers, or those wishing to invest in their staff, to sign up now to secure a slot.
The part-time course, which was established six years ago at BNU, is the only higher education kitchen design course in the UK, and has been recently rewritten, with updated modules and additional elements, by course leader Jayne Hall Cunnick. Its format involves remote learning and residential weekends at Missenden Abbey in the Chilterns.
BNU recently gave validation approval for students finishing their three-year part-time Foundation Degree Arts (FDA) in Kitchen Design, to study for a further year to obtain a BA (Hons) Kitchen Design degree.
